BLEEDING

The main struggle in vampire's life is their seek for blood and their understanding of it, vitae es the most important resource in vampire society, and both vampires and their enemies know it. The blood is contained, of course in then human's body, in it's blood stream: her veins, arteries, capillaries and heart.

To regular folks wounds always imply blood loss since they've a continue blood pump in their body, vampires on the other hand don't, they also don't have blood in their capillaries since they're pale and cold, vampire's blood resides deep into her body specially in her heart.

Due to vampire's supernatural condition it's difficult to rip the vitae from them, even deep cuts are not enough to cause bleeding on them, still it's possible, amputations and attacks to the heart as well as any other cutting wound of aggravated damage will cause a certain bleeding or even an inmediate blood loss. Said in other words only Aggravated Damage Wounds cause bleeding, still an attack to the Heart with any kind of piercing weapon would cause inmediate blood loss, but not bleeding.

FEEDING

Feeding from humans is always an art, there are certain spots in the human body that are specially good to adquire vitae, analogly, there are many others from which vampires cannot obtain their precious exilir. There main blood stream channel mainly in the torso and the neck, secondary going to the limbs and tertiary like those in the wrist than goes from the last ones to the capillaries.

The human body have two sets of equal blood stream via, veins that carries dark blood and arteries that carries bright blood. Both are equally nuturing to the vampire but they're different in thickness, while bright red blood from arteries is very fluid, the dark blood from the veins its very thick and more difficult to take out.

To know the difference and being able to feed from the most efficient spot the vampire character must have Medicine trait, still using common sense and biting the neck or some other place with obvious blood in it will provide vitae to the vampire in the regular amount of 2-3 blood points per round, nevertheless, biting randomly or attack with serpent's asp wouldn't provide this massive amount of blood each time, and even in some cases would not provide blood at all.

The following table contains the amount of blood points provided by arteries, veins will always give one less blood point, even 0. Other places may provided blood in rates inferior to one per round, according to the storyteller's decision.
Type of Artery
Location
Blood per round
Primary
Neck and thigh
3
Secondary
Thigh and arms
2
Tertiary
Wrist and ancles
1
